An Easley, South Carolina, man died when he was crushed by a 2,000-pound piece of metal while working, according to the coroner's office.

Dillon Saint Jean-Schultz, 31, died about 10 a.m. at NuLife Municipal Truck Center on Powdersville Road.

The coroner's office said Jean-Schultz was working at the center when the piece of metal fell on him.

He was pronounced dead at the scene.

According to the business's website, NuLife sells waste management equipment, like garbage truck bodies, lifts and loaders.
